B. O. Kivlin (formerly Wallasey Athletic Club's track secretary) and John Abbott have been selected to represent Cheshire in the hop, step and jump, and discus events respectively, at the Inter-Counties meeting at White City, London on Whit Monday.
The Wallasey Bar-bell Club has now amalgamated with the Wallasey Athletic Club, and will in future be known as the weight-lifting section of the latter club.
Anyone interested in road-walking is cordially invited to 'phone the club secretary, Ron Hubbard, (B'head 3550), who is forming a road-walking section.
