In the final Border League race of the season in Wrexham, Ellesmere Port were the local club to shine. Steven Crowe finished third in 20:46, just 28 seconds behind the winner.
Ian Cooper, from Ellesmere Port was 12th in 21:56. Other strong performances came from Wirral's Pete Scarrett, who finished 13th in 21:57 and Wallasey's Jamie Pullin, who took 18th place in 22:17.
