Despite a strong cold wind the Wallasey Athletic Club championships were well supported and several good performances resulted.
R. Barlow, running almost on his own, turned 2 min. 11.2 sec. for the boys' 880 yds., whilst D. Harris, using the same weight shot as the youths and juniors, put it 26 feet in the boys' event.

Further championships are being held this Saturday, and on Monday the women's section hold their first inter-club meeting against Wirral.
