| The group photograph of Homecroft Harriers was taken on 26th January 1907, shortly before amalgamation with Wallasey AC. A total of 18 runners had taken part in a race of just over 61/2 miles, won by J.B. Barley in 40 minutes and 5 seconds. Homecroft Harriers were formed in 1904 and were one of a number of Wallasey Harriers clubs. They had a strong team with headquarters at the YMCA in Manor Road. In 1908 Homecroft Harriers amalgamated with Wallasey Harriers to form the Wallasey Athletic Club |
