The Paul Lavelle Foundation organised the first marathon on the Wirral since 1985. The course started and finished outside Fort Perch Rock and used the promenade to Seacombe Ferry and out to Meols. Rich Webster was first back in an impressive 3:12, Dan Hoare ran well crossing the line in 3:36 and Sue Reynolds completed her first marathon in 4:12. Michael Robson paced the 3:15 group. Wallasey manned a water station by the clown roundabout. A great day out!
