Twelve runners from Wallasey AC were amongst the 728 finishers at the Wirral 10k. The race started and finished on Ian Fraser Way and the course took in the River Mersey Embankment. Our first runner home was Rab Whitworth in 43:44 and our first lady was Elaine Opara in 43:52. There were age category wins for Michele Alty and Mary Rees.
