The Derwentwater Dawdle was a challenging but beautiful 24 mile self navigated route that takes in three tough ascents totalling 4300ft as the runners complete a full circuit of Derwentwater in the Lake District. Phil Cuthbert, Katherine Andrews and Caet Cuthbert with Blu completed the course that included some fantastic views. Phil finished in 4 hours 55 minutes for 18th place, Katherine, Caet and Blu in 8:11. Cate said after the race "Tough day in the hills today at the Derwentwater Dawdle. Not made any easier by going over on my ankle mile 3! Fantastic scenery, great company and I think we managed to shave 10 mins off last year's attempt."
