Tattenhall Runners organised an excellent multiterrain race of approx. 9 miles for teams of three. The race took place over a mixture of road and trail and included a steep climb up a disused railway track. The Grim Reaper was waiting to greet the runners at the top!. Four teams from Wallasey AC took part and the first home were Happy Days in a time of 01:29 (39th) and the team included Tim Plested, Alison MacDonald and Vicky Kehoe. Second back were Pete Barham, Stewart Foster and Tony Holmes in 01:37 (48th) as 3 Amigo's Slow, third were Elaine Opara, Steve Cole and Katherine Andrews as Cakes in 01:51 (60th) and finally Caet Cuthbert, Sandra Riley and Susie Cosgrove formed Wallasey Dawdlers and finished in 2:05 (65th).
