The weather was cool and damp for the 36th running of the Helsby Half Marathon. Rob Pearse led the Wallasey contingent home with a speedy 01:15:55 for 19th place, first lady for the club was Becky Blacklock in 01:43:59. Mary Rees and Tom Gillbanks were second in their age categories and Michelle Alty was third.
