The Apocalypse 100 began at The National Trust centre in Carding Mill Valley, Church Stretton, Shropshire and was described as not for the faint hearted. The course consists of four loops, War, Conquest, Death and Famine and included 5k of ascent. A tough course which had 30 starters and 14 finishers, amongst the 14 finishers was Steve Armstrong in 6th place in 30 hours 43 minutes, strong running and great stamina.
