Jan McArd joined the 186 runners in the Llyn Alwen Trail Race, Jan finished in 85th place in 01:05. Llyn Alwen is a small natural upland lake on Mynydd Hiraethog in Conwy 10km east of Betws y Coed. The trail course consisted of one loop around the lake in a clockwise direction.
