11 Wallasey athletes competed in the Amsterdam Marathon and Half Marathon. Richard Saunders was first Wallasey runner home in 01:26:34. All the runners put in good performances and several were rewarded with personal bests, namely Mike Griffiths, Alison Engle, Lisa Carney and Julie Barbat. Claire Walton also achieved 19th in her category.
