3 Wallasey runners made the trip to Wrexham to participate in the Helena Tipping Memorial 10k. First home in a time of 36:29 was Tony Barbat finishing in 19th place overall and first in the over 50 age category. He was followed by Dave McAlister in 45:02 for 144th place. Alison Engle ran well despite illness to set a personal best of 49:43. 335 runners completed the course.
