Wallasey AC's senior women finished sixth in the team race at the Liverpool & District Cross-Country Union Championships at Clarke's Garden. Counters for the ladies were Vicky McConnell (now club cross-country champion) - 14th, Elaine Opara (21st), Lisa Griffiths (26th) and Sue Reynolds (34th). There were age category wins for Sue Reynolds and Nicci Davies.
