Weather conditions were fine for the runners in the second race in the L&D League held in conjuction with the Liverpool Cross Challenge at Sefton Park. The energy-sapping 5-mile course was wet and muddy. First back for the club was George Gillies in 37th place and not far behind was Rob Pearse in 62nd. In 93rd was Chris Bowers, Tom McEwan was 98th, Daniel Hoare was 102nd and Paul Griffiths was 121st to give the team 513 points leaving the men in twelfth place on the day and seventh overall.
