The Liverpool & District Cross Country Union league races commenced at Arrowe Park on a twice changed course bereft of mud. Wallasey A.C. finished fourth on the day of 11 complete teams. Counters were Joe Boden (11th), Greg Jones (15th), Connor McArdle (18th), John Armstrong (21st), Mike Green (25th) and Rob Pearse (27th).
