The fourth Borders League fixture of 2025-26 took place at the Wirral Country Park and started and finished by Thurstaston Visitor Centre. The course went up Station Road, along Telegraph Road, down Oldfield Drive and back along the Wirral Way and was just under 5 miles. The men's team finished fifth and counters were Olly Chadwick (4th), Gabriel Pearse (23rd), Patrick Cuthbert (29th), George Gillies (32nd), Rob Pearse (43rd), Jack Poland (55th), Alan Kennedy (56th), Phoenix Pearse (57th), Warren Norton (84th) and Chris Jones (85th). A great result for Wallasey AC youngsters and new runners. The ladies also finished fifth with counters being newcomer Rebecca Murphy (8th), Vicky McConnell (25th), Elaine Opara (35th), Kat Cowdray (47th), Georgina Marsay (58th) and Lisa Griffiths (61st) . In the overall standings the men lie fourth and the ladies fifth.
