The revival of the Borders League relay event was staged by Wallasey AC, as a prelude to the League presentations, and proved to be very successful, with almost every club in the League represented. 76 teams of 4 ran legs of a 1 mile course in the Upper Park. Wallasey AC won the Veteran Men's title with Scott Eves, Steve Brealey, Alan Kennedy and Rob Pearse finishing the 4 x 1 mile course in an impressive 21:03.
