It is with great sadness that we report the
death of Ramsey Hewson who passed away on 2nd October.
Ramsey joined Wallasey as a 14 year old schoolboy in 1936
and until relatively recently he was often at the club
encouraging members with unique enthusiasm.
Ramsey ran on many occasions and served in several
administrative roles for the club during his 86 year
membership. Ramsey has been a faithful servant
to Athletics in general and Wallasey AC in particular. Ramsey’s dedication and unparalleled
loyalty has spurred us all on to be passionate about this
club.
He was a perfect role model and an inspiration to all that
knew him.

go to his family and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Landican Crematorium - Centre Chapel - Thursday 27th
October at
12 noon.
Thanksgiving service at Claremount Methodist Church to start
at 1.30pm.
