The North West Road Relays incorporated the county championships of Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire and Cumbria and were hosted at Birchwood Business Park, Birchwood, Warrington. The men's race consisted of four 5.8km legs. Wallasey AC men's team finished 12th in 01:18:23, Joe Boden was off first and returned in 18:10, Rob Pearse was off next and returned in 20:03, Jack Poland ran the third leg in 20:11 and Chris Jones ran the anchor leg in 19:59. The team finished twelfth and picked up the bronze medals for finishing third Merseyside team.
