Wallasey AC ladies had three teams in the North West Road Relays held at Edge Hill Sports Ground in Ormskirk. The A team consisting of Helen Anne Stansfield (24) 21:52, Katherine Andrews (20) 21:32 and Elaine Opara (17) 21:48 finished in 01:05:12 for 17th place and fifth Merseyside team. The B team made up of Rebecca Blacklock (14) 20:30, Michelle Alty (23) 24:14 and Sallie Holt (21) 21:12 crossed the line in 01:05:56 for 21st place and sixth Merseyside team. The C team comprised Jane Brealey (46) 24:55, Alison Engle (44) 27:03, Nicola Chapman (47) 30:37 completed the relays in 01:22:35 for 47th place and 13th Merseyside team. Each leg consisted of a 5k loop around the campus. Becky was 8th fastest leg out of the Merseyside ladies and Sallie was 10th fastest.
