Two teams from Wallasey AC competed in the senior category of British Mile Relays (Merseyside Round) organised by Merseyside Racing Team in Birkenhead Park. One team was called "Wallasey Fab four" and consisted of Helen Stansfield (6:12), Kevin Hall (5:52), Elaine Opara (6:27) and Jonathon Hogg (5:39) and finished 11th in a total time of 24:12 and the other team was called "Are you well? I thought you were" and was made up of Jack Poland (4:56), Anna Kenny (6:28), Jess McKinlay (6:08), Joseph Boden (4:29) and finished 6th in 22:03.
