The Snowdon 50 Ultra followed the Snowdonia Slate Trail past Swallow Falls to the foot of the Snowdonia mountains and included 2785m of ascent, the mountain trails lead to Heather Terrace on Tryfan, Snowdon Summit, Glyder Fach and Glyder Fawr, Devil's Kitchen and Llyn Idwal before taking in the fantastic trails beside Llyn Crafnant and Llyn Geirionydd. John Bassett completed this gruelling race in just over 21 hours for 91st place.
