An Ultra-Marathon course fusing together 52 Miles of some of the best Trails in the region including the Marches Way, River Dee, Old Dee Bridge, Chester Racecourse, Shropshire Canal, North Cheshire Way, Mid Cheshire Way, the Sandstone Trail, Helsby Hill, Frodsham and Delamere Forest was the venue for the Chester Ultra. Martin Connell, John Bassett and Chris Bowers completed the course in 10:24, 10:30 and 11:36 respectively, a commendable effort on a warm day. They also finished as sixth team.
