In Meriden, a 500 year old cross marks the centre of England, runners had 24 hours to get as far from Meriden as they could travel on foot. Runners were supplied with a race drone gps tracker, any steps away from a direct route were wasted as they result was based on as the crow flies miles. Steve Armstrong took up the challenge for the second year running at midnight and raced through until tiredness overcame him at Bickerton in Cheshire after covering an amazing 62 mile as the crow flies and 75 in total and an excellent 14th place out of the solo runners.
