3 of Wallasey ACs athletes went to Majorca for the Alcudia Triathlon. The race is advertised as a Race in paradise: a holiday friendly island that features a tough, scenic course. The race involved a 1.9km swim, a hilly 90km bike ride and a half marathon all under the heat of the Mediterranean sun. Dave Walton had a good race finishing 8 minutes faster than last year for 5th place in his age category. Phil Cuthbert also conquered the three disciplines, Ian Cannings was unfortunately knocked off his bike and was unable to finish.
