5 of Wallasey AC's athletes went to south east Sweden for the Kalmar triathlon. The swim course was in the Baltic Sea, the bike course was over the 6 km long bridge to the touristic island Oland and the run course went through central parts of Kalmar with the finish line located on the main square. Dave Walton had a storming race finishing second in his age category.
