The Deva Triathlon is an Olympic distance triathlon held in the centre of the historic City of Chester. It is currently in its 14th Year and is run by the City of Chester triathlon club members. John Thelwell had a great race finishing 13th and completing the course in 02:04. Dave Walton (02:23), Phil Cuthbert (02:24), Rolf Westrum (02:56) and Alison Engle (02:57) all produced good efforts. Thanks to their excellent results in this race John Thelwell and Dave Walton qualified for the World Championships to be held in Auckland, New Zealand in October an outstanding achievement.
