The club held their Christmas handicap on Saturday, and an entry of 22 enjoyed an excellent run. Once again it was evident that the youths in the club are running extremely well, and they occupied the first four places in the race, in spite of large handicaps.
K. Ledward finished first, followed closely by D. Anderson and E. Maddock. R. Johnston, who is in the team to represent Cheshire early next year, put up the fastest time of the day, again showing his great ability. A. G. Nicholson presented the prizes.
Today the club visits Sefton Harriers at West Derby Village. Members meet at Pier Head at 2 p.m.
