The above club had their first inter-club run last Saturday, when they met Liverpool Pembroke A.C., at Knotty Ash.
Although the weather was so wretched, there was a good muster of runners. The pace was set by C. Howarth (Pembroke) over a course of about five miles. A mile from the finish the men lined up for a race home, the result being that Wallasey won by 37 points. Details:-

Liverpool Pembroke A.C. - W. Trotter 4, J. Sablich 7, M. Carrigan 9, C. Howarth 13, A. M'Keon 14, T. Jones 15; total 62 points.
To-day there is a three-cornered run with Liverpool and Boundary from the Lamb Hotel, Wavertree. Meet at the Town Hall 2.30 p.m. prompt. Next week an ordinary club run from headquarters will be held.
Owing to the success which attended the whist drive held in March last, it has been decided to hold a whist drive and dance (7.30 p.m. to 2 a.m.) at the Grosvenor Assembly Rooms, on Thursday. November 25th, in aid of the club funds. Tickets (2s. each) may be obtained from any member of the club, or from the hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. R. Scoins, "Edale," Withens-lane, Liscard.
