An ordinary run was held last Saturday from the headquarters of the above club, two packs being sent out.
The "'slows" in charge of Sub-captain Brookes went over the seven-mile course, and the "fasts," under the control of Captain Nicholson, went a longer course, going to Upton by way of Bidston and returning via Moreton and Leasowe. Nicholson has happily recovered from his blood-poisoning, and it was quite like old times to see him out again. The "fast" pack put in some hard work, and E. Plant, P. Scott, C. H. Spence, and F. L. Thornton showed that they are getting "fit."
To-day there is a paper-chase from headquarters at 3.30 p.m.
