Saturday last witnessed another large muster from the Wallasey Club's Headquarters, the Pavilion, Harrison Park, when 75 members of Wirral, Knotty Ash and Wallasey journeyed over eight miles of "land and water," the last 1½ miles being raced over.
The strong Wirral Club gained an easy victory, but it was left to Knotty Ash to supply the first man home, in Ward, their mile champion, who was closely followed by Peter Scott, the home club's erstwhile hon. secretary. The result of the race was:-

To-day Wallasey meet at Liverpool Town Hall at 2.30 p.m. and visit University Harriers at Calderstones.
Saturday next, the first of the season's handicaps, about 5 miles, takes place from Harrison Park, and members are requested to attend early in order that, the race may not be spoiled by darkness.
