Sefton were away last Saturday to Wallasey Harriers & A.C. club, and all the honours went Sefton's way.
The event between these two clubs is always keenly contested in true sportsmanship spirit, and friendly rivalry is the order of the dry.
Contests of this nature tend to bring the best out of young runners, and the innovation of running the seniors and youths in two teams was appreciably enjoyed by both sections.
The result points to our previous reports that Sefton have a strong youth's team in the field at Earlestown to-day in the West Lancashire Cross-Country Championships. (Weather permitting).
