Wallasey Athletic Club held their club championship over a course of seven miles, the trail being laid by J. D. Jones, W. D. Bond and one or two others.
The race was spoiled somewhat owing to the fact the E. Plant, who was favourite, was unable to compete owing to his having contracted blood poisoning. Bob Young, last year's champion, ran a good race and retains his title, while T. J. Brookes, who was runner up last year, again finished second.
