Wallasey Athletic Club held an ordinary run over seven miles of splendid country.
There was a good muster of runners, who thoroughly enjoyed themselves en route, as three new members were inaugurated into the depths of the River Birket, coming to grief at this big jump, two of them standing up to their necks in the water, with an excruciating funny expression of despair on their faces. On the road home the pack livened the pace up, but all finished in a line.
