There was quite a monstre meet last Saturday at Wallasey's Headquarters, when the club was visited by Liverpool, Sefton and Boundary Harriers.
Trail was laid over a course of seven miles of heavy country by W. G. Lace and G. F. Lowes of the home club. Upwards of fifty runners took part in the race, including such well-known runners as S. Franks and J. T. Rimmer, of Sefton, both well-known Marathon runners, H. H. Herbert and McGuffog, of Boundary, and Parkinson, of Liverpool. Wallasey were practically at full strength, but each of the visiting teams was short of one or two of their racing men. The result of the race was that Wallasey won handsomely, placing six men in the first twelve.
