Last Saturday the above club visited West Cheshire Harriers at their Headquarters at Tranmere, the fixture being a race of about eight miles.
Trail was laid by one or two representatives of the home club over a splendid course. Wallasey were unfortunate in not having the services of their captain, A. G. Nicholson, E. S. Bale and C. H. Spence, while the home club was practically at full strength. The result of the race was that West Cheshire won by the narrow margin of s ix points. Wallasey have, however, challenged the winners to another race later in the season when they intend turning the tables. The first six men for Wallasey were :

To-day there is to be a monstre meet at Wallasey's headquarters, Fairhaven Institute, Seaview-road, when the club is to be visited by Boundary Harriers, Sefton Harriers and Liverpool Harriers & Athletic Club. Members are asked to be at the club early so that the race may be finished in the light.
