Last Saturday the Wirral branch were visitors and a good pace seven miles course was run.
In the evening the members held a hot-pot and social evening at the Harrison-drive Cafe, when all had a splendid time. The musical programme was given by Messrs. Brown and Parkinson and members of the club. It is proposed, in view of the great success of the event, to hold another at the end of the cross-country season, and all past members are heartily invited to join in.
To-day the visitors are the Makerfield Harriers, a sound racing club, and a good race is expected. Start from Cricket Pavilion, Harrison Park, 3-15 p.m.
