Salford Harriers regained the Senior team title in the Northern Cross-Country Championships held at Stockton last Saturday. Jack Potts, the English international, retained the individual honour, followed home by two other English internationals in J. A. Burns, of Elswick Harriers, and R. Walker, of Wakefield Trinity, the first two being well clear of the rest of .the field at the finish.
Liverpool Pembroke H. gave a magnificent performance by finishing their team sixth in the first 31 places, being led home by Norman Jones, who finished fifth. Sutton Harriers, the holder, finished third, the conditions being very light in contrast to last year when the course was ankle-deep in mud all the way round.
The Junior Championship was won by Sale Harriers, G. S. Burditt, of Hallamshire, being first man home. Sutton Harriers again secured third place.
A. D. Ridley, of Sunderland H., won the Youths' event, Sheffield United H. securing the team title. W. H. Marsh, of Liverpool Pembroke, was fourth, and his Club obtained another second place.

The Liverpool & District Championships will be held to-day, from Bibby's Ground, Court Hey, the same venue as last year. Wallasey A.C. have a team in each division and hope to give improved performances. The Senior race will be almost a walk-over for Liverpool Pembroke and it would not be surprising for them to finish with the first six. Sefton should win the Junior race and Pembroke the Youths' event.
